2% is nothing to celebrate

Currently, in Minnesota only 2% of Mental Health Professionals are Black. We aim to remove barriers to allow for more representation within the field.

We are looking for professionals to serve on the CAREmore board of directors for a one-year term as one of the four members of our executive committee. The purpose of this non-profit executive committee is to be dedicated to supporting:

  • The need to increase the number of BIPOC clinicians who work in the mental health field
  • Feminism and female empowerment
  • Destigmatizing mental health
  • LGBTQIA+ advocacy

General Members’ Responsibilities:

  • Attend CARE More meetings (1-2 hours monthly) and support the mission of CARE More
  • Attend most CARE More events and represent CARE More at other functions throughout the year
  • Plan one quarterly event
  • Interview future executive committee members
