With a holistic approach influenced by his personal spirituality, Tashim believes in treating the whole person, integrating mind, body, and spirit into the therapeutic process. His expertise lies in addressing various issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, health, sleep challenges, addiction and recovery, as well as fostering self-confidence and self-acceptance.
Tashim’s therapeutic style is particularly effective for clients dealing with anxiety and depression, where he applies the principles of DBT and CBT alongside spiritual practices to promote healing. His experiences have revealed recurring themes in the lives of his clients, guiding him to incorporate mindfulness and psychoeducation into his sessions. He believes that these techniques significantly enhance well-being and foster resilience in those he works with.
Deeply committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment, Tashim’s therapeutic philosophy emphasizes personal growth and community connection. He is passionate about supporting individuals on their spiritual journeys, helping them to explore and deepen their inner lives. Tashim recognizes that while suffering is a universal experience, each person’s story is unique, and he strives to honor that individuality in his practice.
Throughout his career, Tashim has had profound realizations about the nature of suffering and the potential for understanding and accommodation with it. Once identifying as the one who suffers, he now embraces the role of the observer, guiding others toward their own paths of healing.
Tashim’s journey into the mental health profession was driven by a desire to walk alongside others on the age-old path of human suffering. What he cherishes most about his work is witnessing the transformative changes in his clients’ lives and helping them improve their overall quality of life.
