Timberwolves and CARE Counseling Announce Partnership

CARE Counseling will present Timberwolves College Night Platform, offering students $10 tickets to select Timberwolves home games throughout the 2023-24 season

Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves and CARE Counseling today announced a new partnership ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season. This exciting collaboration aims to promote a positive and engaging environment while providing mental health education and support to individuals within the Twin Cities community.

As part of the partnership, CARE Counseling, the presenting partner of the Timberwolves College Nights Platform, will provide a $10 ticket for any student with a valid .edu email address. Timberwolves College Nights Platform will be presented during all Timberwolves home games played Monday through Thursday throughout the 2023-24 season. Additionally, CARE Counseling will be included in all related marketing collateral, and in-arena promotions.

“Providing those in need the access to mental health care and empowering those individuals to utilize that care is something the Minnesota Timberwolves are proud to stand behind,” said Minnesota Timberwolves Chief Operating Officer Ryan Tanke. “The partnership between CARE Counseling and the Timberwolves signifies a shared commitment to promoting well-being within the community and we are thrilled to team up with such wonderful organization.”

The first Timberwolves College Night Platform presented by CARE Counseling will be Wed., Nov. 1 when the Timberwolves take on the defending NBA Champion, Denver Nuggets at Target Center. Tickets are available now on a first-come, first-served basis (not available for transfer or resale) at: timberwolves.com/college.

Founded in 2014 by COO John Hutchinson, and CEO Dr. Andrea Hutchinson, who met at the University of Minnesota and earned advanced degrees from the University of St. Thomas, CARE Counseling has grown into a leading mental health organization with nine locations around Minnesota.
