Whatever your story, wherever you may be on your journey, I believe you are worthy, intrinsically valuable, and deserving to be heard. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you see your value, and move forward into a brighter, more whole future. I hope that as you join our sessions you find safety and peace even as we may enter some challenging waters to find healing. I know therapy can be hard, awkward, or even taboo in some contexts. That is why I am hear to help you gently wade in, with humor, genuine curiosity, and wonder at who you are.
I work with individual adults, couples, families, and children 5 and up. I have a special passion for working with people from immigrant, third-culture, and minority ethnic backgrounds. I love to incorporate creativity, story-telling, narrative, and play into my work. I use a client-centered approach in which I empathetically create space for you to uncover meaning and live into healing.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel University. My approach to therapy is informed by Family Systems Theory, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Positive Psychology.
I myself am a first generation immigrant from Belarus and speak Russian fluently. I have called Minnesota my home for over 15 years. I love to paint, sing, hike out into the mountains, and make my friends laugh at every opportunity. I am so excited to meet you and get to hear your story soon!
