Life can be hard. Change can leave us feeling lost and unsure how to move forward. Sometimes old routines and patterns can make us feel stuck and keep us from being the person we really want to be.
As a therapist, I believe we’re all capable of positive change and growth throughout our lives. I’ll walk alongside you, listen to your concerns, and offer you tools to consider as you navigate change and build strong relationships. I approach therapy in a way that builds on your strengths, and I believe you are the expert on you. My primary aim is to provide a non-judgmental forum for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, values, strengths, and goals. Throughout the process, I strive to provide a safe, collaborative, and caring environment. I draw from theories, such as Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solutions-Focused therapies, to help you address your concerns in a way that’s right for you.
I’ve experienced a lot of change in my own life, including a midlife career shift from marketing and communications to counseling. As a result, I enjoy working with clients who are experiencing transitions of all types. I find it rewarding and inspiring to watch clients achieve their goals, find purpose and meaning, and make strides in their health and wellbeing.
Outside of work I enjoy gardening, hiking, cooking/baking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and reading.
