Roberta Sorenson, MS, LPCC

Do you find it difficult to be kind to yourself? Do your relationships feel unmanageable? Do you feel as if your creativity is stifled? Feeling shame, boredom, discouragement, or like you would rather not be alive, is painful. You don’t need to keep it all inside. I know how important it is to be heard without judgement. I am good at identifying hidden strengths… strengths you may discount due to self-criticism and emotional pain and trauma.

In my work with clients, I have successfully helped people overcome obstacles and reengage in constructive activities such as returning to school, becoming employed, repairing or improving relationships, reducing or stopping addictive behaviors, developing self-love, overcoming isolation, and blossoming in creative and intellectual endeavors. We can work together to help you love yourself so that you may be able to fully experience the love of others and accomplish the things you hope to accomplish and gain a more positive perspective on your life.
