Many things in life are outside of our control. However, many things in life are within our control, including our ability to take that first step towards healing and changing whenever we feel most ready. I am passionate about helping people explore strategies for enhancing their quality of life, and I would enjoy nothing more than walking alongside you throughout that process.
Should you choose to be a team with me, my goal will be to help you lead the life you want to live by providing a listening ear, an outside perspective, and empathy. On your part, the process will involve an openness to shifting your perspective and a willingness to try some new behaviors. We can identify the decisions that will leave you feeling the happiest, the most hopeful, and the most fulfilled over the course of our time together.
The therapeutic relationship is the bedrock of my approach to therapy. I will tailor all my interventions based on your needs to incorporate evidence-based techniques and interventions inspired by Narrative Therapy, CBT, Gestalt, and Person-Centered Therapy. My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal relationships, gender and sexuality, identity, grief, loss, and life transitions.
In my own spare time, I enjoy reading classic mystery novels, hiking, learning about personality models such as the MBTI and Enneagram, and spending time with friends and family. Thank you for taking the time to read this page and I hope we have the opportunity to work together.
