If your life was like a garden, what would you like to see grow? (Or better yet…weeded out?) Finding the right therapist is like hiring the right gardener to help you learn the best ways to care for it. Together we identify the weeds in your life that need to go (negative thoughts and self-judgements), the new plants we want to add and nurture (unconditional self-regard, positive self-esteem and self-worth), and help you to find and use the right therapeutic tools to help your life thrive in the ways it was meant to. My approach is individualized for each client and you will find that it is empathy centered work grounded in cutting edge science and evidence-based practices. I am an LGBTQIA+ and queer affirming therapist and I enjoy working with a broad range of ages and needs including mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and difficult life transitions. Let’s be real, life can sometimes make you want to shout “$#%@!” and you’ll want a therapist who will be right there with you through all of it.
