My approach to therapy: It can be hard to find your voice in a world that can be overwhelming. I believe everyone should feel they can share their story. I want to provide a safe space to do so where you to feel accepted, understood, and validated in your unique experiences
I enjoy taking a collaborative approach working to improve situations and relationships. I have experiences working with children, families, and adults in a variety of settings and situations which include: in-home and school-based work with behavioral skills, play therapy, family and individual therapy, autism, anxiety, depression, conduct problems, and relational conflict.
My work with Culture: I want to provide a safe space where multi-racial clients and people of color can feel comfortable even if it is just exploring your identity in a place that you feel heard. Your lens for culture, religion, sexuality, and other value are important in how your experience life and my personal experience being a multi-racial woman provides me with the foundation necessary to tell your story and express your feelings openly.
My work with Kids: “It is easier to build strong children than fix broken men”. This statement helps guide my work with children and adolescents. I want to work together with your family to help your child become confident in themselves and the skills they possess to navigate through life.
My work with Adults: When working with adults, I also want to help instill a sense of confidence. Life can be frustrating at times. You shouldn’t have to deal with that alone.
