No one sets out in life to struggle. But we all do. We get frustrated, disillusioned, confused, sad, or angry. But it’s in these tough times that the potential for growth and healing are also greatest. Whether your mind and body are telling you it’s time for a shift, or you simply need a safe space to open up, you deserve to be heard.
I believe therapy is a safe space where people can express the deepest parts of themselves and find ways to heal. Above all else, I see myself as a collaborator with clients in helping them embrace growth at a pace that feels right. Each person has a unique way of dancing with life. Unique beliefs, experiences, relationships, stresses, and family patterns. There is no one “way” for navigating these issues. In therapy, I believe clients deserve to find their “way.”
I work with adults, adolescents, and couples – female, male and nonbinary. My approach is informed by a variety of practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), existential, person-centered, Adlerian, attachment-based, family systems, and narrative approaches. I also utilize mindfulness practices. In my free time I enjoy cross-country skiing, writing, reading, gardening, and playing music.
