Therapy is a journey to be traveled together. Many of us develop strategies for survival that, however functional and protective, can become patterns no longer serving their original purpose of safety and security. One may feel confused, frustrated and overwhelmed. We will undertake an exploration of your perspective reality together- a pursuit that can lead to recognition, understanding, insight and transformation. This endeavor will feel difficult at times, as any change does, however, “the highest reward for a person’s toil is not what they get for it, but what they become by it.”- John Ruskin
In my practice, I work with individuals across the lifespan who are seeking to understand themselves and create space for growth and effective change. When working with children I utilize strategies focused on coping and regulation, emotions, social skills and executive functioning development.
