Welcome to therapy! I am so proud of you for taking this next step in your journey. Navigating challenges in life whether you’re experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, or other difficulties can be hard to do alone. By having help you can start to recognize your patterns, your strengths, and how we can utilize that information to propel you in moving forward.
During a session I will use a mindfulness approach that will involve validating your experiences, looking into patterns, and developing coping mechanisms to connect the mind and body. I take a client-centered approach and have been trained in dialectical behavioral therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy for kids. I have experience in working with clients who depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, and trauma.
I recently graduated from Saint Mary’s University with my masters in social work! In my spare time, I’m either training for a road running race, singing rock music, or hanging out with my cats.
