Everyone has times in their life where they struggle, face problems, or carry burdens. Sometimes we manage to be resourceful, adapt, and find a way through. And sometimes we get stuck, and the problem persists. I am a firm believer that seeking help is not a sign of helplessness but rather is one of strength. It takes strength to seek help and trust another person with your story. I am here to be an objective, unjudgmental listener. I believe that every client is the boss of their own life, and deep down has the tools they need to resolve their problems, but sometimes they need an outside perspective to help them see all the possibilities. I applaud your decision to seek assistance with your problem, whether it be with me or any of the therapists at this clinic. While it can be scary, you have already taken the first step towards healing, and that took courage.
