Jett Snyder, MA

I walk through life seeing and experiencing the world through 3 lenses: The Lenses of Compassion, Understanding, and Forgiveness.

I’m a lifelong learner seeking a better understanding and deeper meaning in life’s experiences. I seek to learn from others and strive to improve and work on the craft of the therapeutic relationship. My core values of genuinely caring about humanity spoke to my inner spirit to seek an education in relational therapy to help individuals and their relationships which ultimately helps communities. I work with individuals and couples of two (dating, married, divorced, parent & child 16+, siblings, and friendships).

So many out there need someone to talk to for guidance, hope, and for better understanding. I have the evolving skills, talent, and strong desire to be there for those who are struggling and asking for help.

I’ve struggled. A lot. I’ve learned a lot too. I’ve learned so many life lessons, grown as a human being, my relationships are stronger, and I’ve become wiser yearly as I seek to better understand life & evolve. I believe most struggles go back to attachments in our early relationships. I also enjoy helping others with relational boundaries. I will help you with how to establish boundaries, practice them and maintain them consistently enough to create better overall relationship functioning.

I’ve had the most interesting life. I identify as belonging within the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I’ve experienced so many individual and relational lessons. I’m eager to help you through your story and explore your adverse events, relational suffering, grief & loss, confusion, helplessness, hopelessness, fears, and anxieties. My professional goals would be to practice therapy with the hope of you gaining a better understanding of your relationships and increasing personal inner peace and harmony.  I’m a true believer that injuries to our souls are relational in nature and therefore treatment must be relational in nature for better outcomes.

Your experience is extremely important to me because I used to be a client filled with fear, pain, suffering, and confusion. I know how it feels to sit in raw emotions, be vulnerable and feel exposed. I understand the bravery and courage it takes to walk through the therapy door…and stay…and leave sometimes too…but come back & refocus. I have a good understanding of what is needed from a client’s perspective. I know what it’s like to not be seen and heard so I give this gift in the therapeutic relationship. I see your humanity, hear your silent longings and I’m happy to help with what I can.

I can’t help the entire world, but I have had the honor of being a part of changing someone’s entire world. That’s a beautiful thing! Let’s work together as you seek to better understand yourself and your relationships.

We don’t have to see the whole staircase…we just need to take it one step at a time. Let’s start this first step together.

Peace & Light,

Jett
