Life can be difficult to navigate at times, and having the support to talk about life’s challenges can be both healing and enlightening. If you are an individual struggling with life’s challenges or significant life events, I would be honored to work with you to explore, understand, and highlight your needs and your strengths to help you live your life to the fullest, every day.
As a therapist, I enjoy creating a warm, safe, and compassionate space for individuals to explore their needs, emotions, and their strengths. I am someone who strives to ensure you will be understood, heard, accepted, and challenged, as we all are complex individuals looking to live our best life with both the positives and negatives associated with it. I have experience in and enjoy working with clients across various diverse backgrounds, ages, and stages in their lives, and I strive to understand your unique experiences. I am a strengths based therapist who has experience in talk therapy, play therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness. However, whatever your needs are, we will work collaboratively to create an approach that best fits your needs.
I received my Master’s degree at the University of Saint Thomas in 2016; I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who began in the human services field in 2012, and achieved licensure in 2019. My experience includes working with adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, chemical dependency, and adjustments to daily living and the stressors around that. I have also worked with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, and have cultivated strong and empowering relationships with families and clients who are seeking a greater understanding in their developmental needs. Finally, I have extensive experience in psychological testing and understanding and creating support around results. I strive to meet the client where they are at, and I look forward to meeting you and supporting you.
