Simply put, everyone can benefit from seeking therapy at some point in their life. This includes you! You deserve a non-judgmental space to be fully seen and heard by another human who is committed to walking alongside you on this journey. Designated time where you can process difficult experiences and emotions, explore patterns in your thoughts and behaviors, and work on making any desired changes toward growth and healing. I am a firm believer that you are doing the best you can in this moment and you already hold the answers- even if it doesn’t feel that way. My role is to assist in guiding you through the stuckness and to help you gain more insight into your own life experiences. You don’t have to do it alone.
I work closely with my clients to foster a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, affirming, compassionate, and collaborative. There is no “cookie cutter” way to do therapy and no therapeutic relationship looks exactly the same. This means I tailor different modalities and approaches to what is most effective for you and our work together. Some common approaches and techniques I utilize include DBT, ACT, narrative therapy, family systems and attachment theory, elements of IFS and parts work, strengths-based, mindfulness, and art therapy.
I enjoy working with adults. I have specialty experience in working with disordered eating, body image concerns, perfectionism, depression, anxiety, self-harm behaviors and emotional dysregulation. Additionally, I have experience and am interested in working with clients experiencing life transitions/changes, grief and loss , relationship issues, values work, and identity development.
I am a Mental Health Practitioner working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) under supervision.
