Sexual Addiction

How do I know if I have a sexual addiction?

Sex addiction symptoms may include secrecy, in which a person with the disorder hides their sexual behaviors by lying or avoiding areas they may be noticed. Other symptoms include obsessive sexual thoughts, sexual relations with multiple partners, infatuation with sex even when it gets in the way of everyday lie, putting oneself in risky or dangerous situations to engage in sexual behaviors, and feeling guilty following sexual activity.

What should I do if I have a sexual addiction?

Sex is a normal part of both relationships and general human existence. Having sex does not mean you have a sexual addiction, but if you are feeling as though your desire for sex is impeding in your everyday life, seek out help from a healthcare provider.
