Hello and welcome!
My name is Sandra Maurer, MA, E-RYT (she/her)
All of us deserve to feel safe, connected, and empowered. These are my main goals when I start with each new client.
I use a trauma informed, feminist-therapy approach to therapy and rely heavily on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skills, art therapy, and somatic interventions (like yoga and mindfulness). This means that you are the expert on your experience and my role is to meet you exactly where you are, help you reflect, gather resources, and gain new skills in living your intentional life. Throughout the healing process, I believe it’s important to include our whole self—our creativity, culture, sense of humor, gender identity, family roles, intellect, body, and spirit.
I love working with perinatal (fertility, prenatal, postpartum) clients and new parents of all kinds, trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, grief and loss. If this feels like the right fit for you, I am excited to get to know you!
