Sometimes we become misguided and we lose track of the skills we possess to transform our lives. With support, I have seen individuals make impactful changes in their life by introducing alternative perspectives and deepening their relationship with self. If you are experiencing feelings of anxiety, depression, feeling “stuck” by trauma, or you are feeling a general discontent with life, counseling is a safe space for you to sit with an attentive listener as you explore these parts with curiosity.
I approach therapy with an open mind and a big heart. I work with teens and adults and my specialties include childhood trauma, sexual trauma, grief and loss, motherhood and mother-wound, self-esteem and self-worth, and relational concerns.
I utilize a narrative, attachment-based, and insight-oriented approach to counseling.
My guiding principle as a therapist is to encourage and motivate you in a supportive way as you uncover new perspectives and make positive changes to improve your life. I have a background in meditation and yoga and appreciate honoring a holistic lens when it comes to your lifestyle and symptoms. I would be honored to walk alongside you in your therapy journey.
