Hi and welcome! First, I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to seek therapy and open yourself up to the possibility of change. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe space that cultivates growth and exploration. By listening to your story and providing unwavering, judgment-free support, I aim to help you find purpose and peace as you navigate through life’s challenges.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, and my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Loyola Chicago. My practice is informed by several therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy. Through my work with adolescents and young adults in a variety of settings, I have gained experience working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, those struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD. My approach is trauma-informed, social justice oriented, and focuses on helping you discover and access the strengths you already have within yourself to change. In my free time, I enjoy reading, being with friends, walking the lakes, and listening to music. I look forward to the potential of going through this journey with you!
