“One… one tree can start a forest, one smile can begin a friendship, one hand can lift a soul, one word can frame the goal, one candle can wipe out darkness, one laugh can conquer gloom, one hope can raise our spirits, And…one choice can change your life.” – Mac Anderson
I believe that we are all more powerful than we think. Just one choice can change your life. Maybe that choice is starting therapy for the first time or starting with someone new. In therapy I aim to create a safe space and build a trusting therapeutic alliance to help you discover the choices that just might change your life. Choices to heal from the past and build a life worth living. I use a client-centered approach to therapy, informed by CBT, trauma-informed therapy, DBT, strengths-based therapy, mindfulness, EMDR, and motivational interviewing. Together we will create a plan that meets your goals and you are able to give feedback and have input in your care. I work with individuals 14 and older who are experiencing ADHD, depression, anxiety, disordered eating, sexual identity issues, transitional difficulties, CPTSD and PTSD. I am passionate about teen and young adult life transitions. I also work with couples and families. My goal for our time together is for you to feel seen, heard, and able to make the changes you want in life. If you feel that I would be a good fit for you please reach out!
