Relationship building, community connection, and our lived experiences are integral to how our stories are shaped. I would be honored to hear your stories and learn how to support you in processing and shaping your narrative.
My education is in clinical social work, and I have a background of working in journalism, nonprofits, and hospitality. I intend my therapy approach to be anti-oppressive, honest, devoid of judgement, values and social justice driven, trauma-informed, respectful, contextually informed, and eclectic. In our time together, we would be focusing on furthering your emotional wellbeing via individualized interventions. I am nonbinary, queer, trans, white, of rural background, and am engaged in my own healing processes. I find joy and healing when engaging in my built community, creating and making with my hands, and snuggling my cat, Bast. I welcome folks to claim time and space for their needs—things that our capitalist, racist, classist, ableist, heterosexist, transphobic society does not make an easy task for you to undertake. I enjoy working with 2SLGBTQIA+ people, BIPOC people, Autistic people, people who’ve experienced religious trauma or adverse religious experiences, and people of all ages and diverse life experiences. I hope you receive the support you’re looking for.
