There are times when sadness, stress, or worry take up too much space in your life. Relationships can be difficult, disappointing, or confusing; you may feel “stuck” in patterns of thought and behavior and unable to see a clear path forward. Maybe you feel ready for change, but you don’t even know what you want or how to take the first steps. Seeking support during these times can help you understand your experiences and find new ways to cope with life’s never-ending challenges.
Everyone needs to be seen, heard, and understood. My role is to learn about your experiences, to listen, ask questions, and walk beside you on your journey toward healing, better emotional health, and more fulfilling relationships. I will work with you to identify your strengths, values, and core beliefs within a warm, comfortable, and collaborative atmosphere where you can feel free to share your feelings and experiences without judgment.
I place great importance on the collaborative therapeutic process, and I have experience working both individually and in groups with adults suffering from addictions and co-occurring disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, and a range of interpersonal problems. Additionally, I have specialized training and experience dealing with the complexities of OCD and using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to provide relief using a collaborative and tailored approach.
I grew up in the Twin Cities and lived abroad for many years before returning to the Minneapolis in 2018 to pursue my Master’s Degree in Psychological Counseling from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. I have recently earned my licensure and look forward to continuing to serve my community.
