Oftentimes, life can feel overwhelming and stressful. Seeking out help can feel difficult and even uncomfortable during these times. However, you don’t have to do it alone. My mission is to empower you to make positive change by collaborating with you and your family in order to build an environment where you feel safe and understood. I acknowledge that beginning therapy is not an easy feat, and I believe it is vital to create a space where you feel comfortable and heard.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life stressors. I have a special interest in working with Spanish speaking families, as well as middle aged Spanish speaking women. I speak Spanish and offer psychotherapy services in Spanish or English.
It is my goal to ensure that you feel accepted and supported. I recognize that life paths are different and unique to each individual. I will work with you to set realistic and attainable goals in order to get the most out of therapy. I aim to encourage and work together with you in order to explore the challenges in your life, as well as support you in making positive change.
I received undergraduate degrees in both Spanish and Psychology from the University of St. Thomas. I also received my Master of Arts from the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of St. Thomas and am under supervision while working towards independent clinical licensure.
