Welcome! Take a moment to recognize the strength you have in pursuing this step in your journey; whether this is your first time in therapy or you are returning after taking a break, I am happy you are here. I understand the energy it takes to navigate daily life with stress and emotions weighing you down. You deserve a safe space to express your thoughts, feelings, and emotions, and be your authentic self. During our time together, you will be in a nonjudgmental and supportive environment that allows you to explore all of those things. As your therapist, I will collaborate with you on the items you are wanting to address and utilize different theories and approaches to best assist you. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, BPD, trauma, and significant life changes. You will find that I incorporate art, humor, music, and mindfulness techniques into my sessions. Together, we will find ways that work for you to reach your personal goals. I have my Bachelor’s degrees in Human Development/Family Science and Social Work, and my Master’s degree in Social Work. I focus on the psychosocial aspect when approaching mental health, and see the individual as an expert on their own life. My goal is for you to feel seen and heard.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and going to concerts; I would love to hear about your favorite parks and bands! I am also an animal lover and enjoy talking about your companions. I am excited to learn about you and your unique experiences and walk alongside you in your journey.
