You’re so brave for taking this first step in finding support, connection, and healing! At CARE I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of presenting mental health concerns, but I am particularly drawn to holding space for those working through life transitions, relational/emotional trauma, issues of identity, and family dynamics. I work from an attachment-based, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed lens while incorporating play and connection any chance I get.
My role as a psychotherapist is to accompany you on your journey of coping, integrating, and healing. I have a firm belief that this healing happens through a safe, supportive relationship and I carry this into my practice. You will find that I bring mindfulness, art, humor, play, and movement into sessions. With me, you can expect a nonjudgemental space, a stance of curiosity, an open-minded presence, playfulness, and a holistic approach to healing. I look forward to accompanying you on this healing journey and will meet you with gentleness and support.
I received my Bachelors in Social Work from Bethel University and my Masters in Social Work with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Minnesota. I am licensed through the Minnesota Board of Social Work as an LGSW. My practice experience has been at MHealth Fairview, St. Paul Public Schools, and Peak Behavioral Health.
When I am not in session I enjoy hiking, diving headfirst into a good book with a cup of coffee, and cuddling with my puppy, Millie!
