What aspects of your life give you a sense of gratitude or fulfillment? Are there sticky points where it would be helpful to have a separate, nonjudgmental perspective to talk through with? I will listen, honor your experiences, and walk alongside you as you manage life’s obstacles. I strive to create a genuine, safe space for my clients to assist them on their journey of growth and healing.
Our time together can be spent exploring the motivations behind the behavior, uncovering patterns, discovering parts about yourself, and experiencing a secure space for feeling and processing emotions. I practice therapy from an empathetic and interconnected perspective that emphasizes where and how you would like to see change occur in your life.
I provide individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy to all ages. I am particularly interested in working with couples with communication issues, individuals who struggle to adjust to new life circumstances, and adults looking to be more present in their lives and relationships.
My therapeutic work holds a Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy perspective and is influenced by an attachment lens. I also use Gottman Methods in my work with couples, as I appreciate the focus on increasing understanding.
As a white, heterosexual, cisgender woman, I am aware of and engaged in how these identities and society have shaped my experiences. I am interested in exploring the varying aspects of identity with clients in the ways that feel best to them.
I look forward to meeting with you and helping you understand your strengths and experiences on a deeper level.
