People often live two lives: The outward-facing ideal versus the complicated internal experience. We often carry the hidden burden of unexpected transitions, trauma, hardship, depression, and grief. I am deeply committed to partnering with you to help navigate these experiences while honoring your identities and strengths.
My background as a Clinical Health Psychologist allows me to work competently with issues such as PTSD, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, gender-affirming care, insomnia, veterans, military, families undergoing complex medical journeys, and end-of-life transitions. I have specialized training in trauma-focused evidence-based practices, neuropsychological assessment, palliative care, couple counseling (including polyamorous relationships), and sex therapy. My experiences as a former healthcare provider taught me to embrace complexity and value the uniqueness of each individual. I proudly serve as a committed ally of the LGBTQ, indigenous, and diverse communities of our great state. My lived experiences as a veteran, person of color, and advocate inform my mission to provide you with exceptional and culturally humble care.
