“One day you will tell your story and how you got through it. That story will be a part of someone else’s survival guide.” – Brené Brown
I’m glad you’re here. You are taking a brave step forward in addressing your mental health. This is a journey, and I am honored to be a part of yours.
I aim to create a safe space by utilizing a person-centered, trauma informed approach while offering acceptance and empathy. This is your story; you get to tell it how and at what pace you want. I will challenge, support and help you improve your functioning. I enjoy working with all ages experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, Veterans, and postpartum/infertility struggles.
I obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from St. Cloud State University in 2005. I have been working in the mental health field for 18 years in a variety of roles, most recently as a mental health case manager. I have always been passionate about mental health and opted to return to school to obtain my master’s degree to take on a clinical role. I completed my MSW at St. Cloud State University in Spring 2023. I am working under supervision towards my LICSW.
In my free time, I’m an avid reader (reading 40-50 books a year). I enjoy spending time with my family and am a Star Wars fanatic.
I look forward to working with you and walking this journey to healing.
