I’m so thankful you have found your way on (or back on) the journey of working with a therapist! It is rarely an easy decision, but it is one that can be life-changing when you’ve been feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, disempowered, or any other way that keeps you from doing the things that matter the most to you in this lifetime. You and I can work together to take a holistic approach to our sessions, meaning that while you may come in with one specific goal, looking at all angles of your life as you feel comfortable can help us find the pieces of the puzzle to problem-solving and getting you where you want to be in life.
I enjoy working with adults and my practice is informed by mindfulness-based modalities, is client-centered and strength-based as well as trauma-informed. I prioritize intersectionality and inclusion in my personal and professional life. My approach is to follow your lead in terms of how structured or unstructured sessions. I find that often times doing some work in between sessions can be massively helpful, and if that’s not your thing – we’ll go with that. You are the expert in your life and your background, and I am honored that you are choosing to share this chapter with me.
I am a military brat (and former Air Force spouse) and so I’ve lived in many regions of the country, but have really loved living in the Twin Cities area for several years. When I’m not working, I have a yoga and meditation practice that is key to maintaining my wellness, spending time with my kid, going for walks, reading, and of course catching up on some of my favorite Netflix shows.
I am stoked to get to know you and deeply honored to walk this part of your path with you!
