We are all on a journey. It can be really exciting sometimes, but it can also be incredibly hard.
Maybe the majority of your journey has been smooth, but lately you’ve been feeling stuck or lost, and you’re unsure of what needs to change to start moving forward again. Or maybe your journey has been really rough and you’re feeling emotionally drained, numb, frustrated, or broken, wondering what it looks like for you to continue to navigate all of the challenges of life when it feels so difficult. Maybe your journey doesn’t even feel like it’s your journey at all and you’re wondering what it might look like to start to understand more about who you are, what’s important to you, where you’re going, and why. Our journeys are all unique, but we don’t always need to travel alone.
Hello, “fellow traveler.” I consider it a privilege to journey with you for a while, if that’s what you choose. Looking into counseling can be a hard step for many people and I deeply respect your decision to seek out this resource.
Some of the things that I desire for you: to feel heard, understood, supported, and empowered. I aim to connect with people from a place of compassion, empathy, and curiosity. I do not claim to have the magic solution to what you are going through, I believe that people are more complex than that; however, I am passionate about working together with you and offering what I can to help as you bravely tackle the important work of navigating through whatever it is that has brought you here.
I received my Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from Bethel University and am under supervision while working towards independent licensure.
