Starting therapy can be scary which is why I strive to create a non-judgmental and supportive atmosphere for all of my clients. I emphasize a collaborative approach to treatment that is consistent with my client’s goals for therapy. I believe in meeting people where they are at and taking them where they want to go.
I have experience working with children and teens both in outpatient and day treatment settings. I specialize in treating concerns related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, social skills, behavioral concerns, self-esteem, and identity development. I incorporate evidence-based treatments and modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy.
I grew up in Nebraska but currently reside in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities with my husband and dog (Dakota). When I’m not practicing therapy, I love to spend time with family, explore new restaurants, and go on walks with Dakota… When she’s behaving!
I look forward to connecting with you 🙂
